Public Kids Birthday Parties in North Reading, MA!

Our private parties our led by our staff leads the fun, so parents can enjoy the party. Private kids birthday parties in North Reading have access to private play gyms that are exclusively for their party. This means that friends get to play together rather than mix amongst the public.

Public parties are hold by party parents in our public area. You get a semi private table area & parents will be in charge of keeping track of the kids.

Both party options are two hours long.

Cowabunga’s books birthday parties 24 hours a day, seven days a week using our online booking system.  If you see a spot you want, you can reserve it with a $100 deposit.  The remainder of your party balance will be due at the end of your party.  After you book your party, you will get a welcome call within a couple days to confirm your booking.  <<BOOK NOW!>>

A public party is a great option for smaller parties and parents that don’t mind leading the fun!  This package includes up to 6 kids but can accommodate up to 10 kids. It’s also an affordable kids birthday party option in North Reading, MA!

Our public parties are two hours for up to 6 kids for $220.  Additional kids are $20 each.

Your party will get to play in our open gym area. This area is open to the public during your party.

Also included in the packages is white paper supplies, cups, silverware and napkins. Drinks, goody cups, balloons, decorations and food can be added to your party package for an additional charge.

You can come 10 minutes before your party to unload & set up.

Typically we can not accommodate requests to come early, as we have other parties using the space before your party.

We work our magic & everything gets cleaned and sanitized between parties but doesn’t allow for time to set up early.

For public parties, Cowabunga’s provides all white paper supplies, cups, silverware and napkins. Drinks, goody cups, balloons, decorations and food can be added to your party package for an additional charge.

We’re a cast of characters! Surprise your child with a special character visit during his/her party. Characters will drop in during your party for up to 20 minutes for pictures, interactions & more!

Birthday party character visits in North Reading are recommended for private parties, as this allows dedicated time without distractions from other kids. Character visits can be done during your private play time or in the private cake room. Your party planner will talk through the options with you.

Princess & Superhero visits are extra special, but only done on a very limited basis at Cowabunga’s in Manchester. While we work really hard to staff these visits when requested, we have very limited staff options that fit the “look” of each character. Sometimes princesses will wear wigs, and characters may be required to wear masks during their character . Please inquire with the store manager about your special character visit.

We will contact you the Tuesday before your party to go over all the details of your party.  During this time, you can order food, balloons, goody cups and add a character visit.  All orders must be in by Thursday at 3 pm before your weekend party.

Cowabunga’s allows you to bring the following items to your party.  We ask that any decorations be put together.  

• Decorations (assembled)
• Unopened themed or color paper goods 
• Balloons
• Goody bags (nut free & assembled)
• Cake (nut free from licensed kitchen/bakery)
• Hoodsie cups
• Water bottles
• Individually portioned drinks
• Individually portioned, nut free snacks

Cowabunga’s does not allow home cooked food, food from other businesses or any food that contains nuts.  The only exception to this rule is a nut free cake from a licensed, commercial bakery or supermarket.

We do not allow alcohol either.

We ask that you bring your party supplies with you on the day of your party!  

Public parties will be able to decorate the party pavilion 10 minutes before the start time of your party.
