How Birthday Party Character Visits Work
You can book birthday party character visits at our locations in Manchester, NH and North Reading, MA. Characters drop in during your party for 20 minutes and are available for pictures, interactions and more.
We recommend adding a character visit for our private parties, so you can have plenty of time without distractions from other kids. Please note that you can add a character visit to a public kids party, but we cannot guarantee characters won’t interact with children outside your party.

Mascot Character Visits for Birthday Parties
Mascot characters are a great way to add a little extra fun to your child’s birthday party! Our mascot characters spend about 20 minutes with the party for high fives, hugs and photos. Please note: mascot characters cannot talk and are limited on what they can do during a visit. A Cowabunga’s staff member will be with them to help and ensure the visit runs smoothly.
Princess & Superhero Visits for Birthday Parties
These character visits are extra special, because they’re only done on a very limited basis. We work hard to ensure our characters fit the “look” of your child’s favorite princess or superhero. Therefore, we have limited staff options for each character. Princesses may wear wigs and other characters may wear masks during the visit. Be sure to talk to our party planners to book your birthday party character visits ahead of your special day!
